Leeds face Aston Villa on Friday night in the Championship at Elland Road.

The Whites go up against an in-form Villa that have won their last three outings against Queens Park Rangers, Sunderland and Ipswich Town, largely thanks to the explosive goalscoring form of Albert Adomah who has scored five in three games.
However, Leeds come into the game in much-improved recent form after wins against Middlesbrough and Barnsley either side of a loss to Wolves put a halt to four successive losses against Brentford, Derby County, Sheffield United and Leicester City.

Sweden international Jansson was full of praise for Spaniard Saiz, as the attacking dynamo continues to provide the heartbeat to Leeds’ attacking play – claiming he never loses possession when Leeds have the ball.
“He’s good. Of course he’s a very good player.” Jansson said. “Last year, we believed a lot in Pablo Hernandez, now we have more in that area. He’s very good with the ball. He’s a fantastic player.
“He’s not that big, not the most physical one, but he’s strong – he never loses the ball. He has a huge impact in attack for us, he’s a very good signing for us.”

Saiz, 26, has been in excellent form this season since joining the Yorkshire giants from La Liga outfit Huesca, scoring nine goals and laying on four assists in 19 league and cup outings for the Whites.
Thomas Christiansen will be desperate to see him continue that form against Villa, with Leeds likely to take positives from last season’s 2-0 win at Elland Road which saw Kemar Roofe and Chris Wood score second-half goals.
Three points for Leeds will see them climb into the Championship play-off places if they can surpass the difference in goal difference between themselves and sixth-placed Derby. It would mean Leeds would have to win by three goals.
