Tottenham defender says he is excited about the year ahead.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen is dealing with World Cup heartbreak – but already his attention is switching to his club.
Vertonghen’s Belgium were knocked out of the tournament at the semi-final stage by France, losing 1-0.
He has the third place play-off to play against England still, although he could be rested.
Vertonghen is feeling positive about his return to Tottenham, responding to the club’s official Twitter account.
Vertonghen and Tottenham are hoping this can be the year the club wins silverware, as he has not lifted any during his six years at the club.
His performances deserve better, and with Spurs moving into their brand new stadium this season, perhaps it is the year it all turns around for Vertonghen and his teammates.
Hopefully for him, his international defensive partner Toby Alderweireld sticks around and signs a new deal to prolong their run together for club and country.
