The Tottenham Hotspur duo linked up superbly well against Newcastle United on Saturday.

Jan Vertonghen spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and offered high words of praise for Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko, labelling the duo’s performances against Newcastle as ‘incredible’.
Spurs earned a hard-fought win against the Magpies, and they now sit just five points adrift of league leaders Liverpool, after Jürgen Klopp’s side dropped points away at West Ham on Monday night.
Tottenham failed to sign anyone for the second successive transfer window last month, but that might just work in their favour.
The north London outfit are an incredibly tight-knit group, and that kind if familiarity could serve them very well between now and the end of the season.
Vertonghen spoke to reporters after Saturday’s win against Newcastle, and singled out two Spurs players for praise, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“If you could see the way Winksy and Moussa were pressing in the second half, they were incredible. A big, big effort from them makes it easier for us.”
Winks, 23, and Sissoko, 29, will have a key role to play for Tottenham between now and the end of the season, with Mousa Dembele having left the club for China.
And should they continue their fine form, Spurs have every chance of ending their 11-year wait for a major trophy this season.
