Christian Eriksen is a key player for Tottenham Hotspur.

Vertonghen played with Eriksen at Ajax and are now teammates at Premier League club Tottenham.
The 26-year-old attacking midfielder is one of the best players in his position in Europe and has been superb for the past few years.
The Denmark international scored 10 goals and provided 10 assists in the Premier League this past season, while during the 2016-17 campaign, he scored eight goals and provided 15 assists in the league.
Tottenham and Belgium international defender Vertonghen, 31, has spoken highly of his Spurs teammate Eriksen, who earns £70,000 per week as salary, according to Sky Sports.

Vertonghen told Tottenham’s official website about Eriksen: “In the last two, two-and-a-half seasons he’s levelled up so much. You can see in games sometimes that he carries us and takes control.
“He’s really grown up in his game physically, dominating and it’s definitely been his best season at Spurs and the best season I’ve played with him.
“He’s still young and he’s one of the guys you always see in the gym, on his own, doing his work and he’s had that mentality from a very early age. He’s a great player to have in the team.”

World class?
Eriksen is a very consistent attacking midfielder who is very good at creating chances and at set-pieces.
While much is said about Harry Kane, perhaps the Denmark international is world class as well.
After all, the former Ajax star has been brilliant for Tottenham for the past few seasons, and his performances in the Champions League have also been very encouraging.
