Tottenham Hotspur are the only unbeaten team in the Premier League, despite having injury problems.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen has told The Mirror that he believes their squad is capable of dealing with any one of their stars getting injured.
Spurs have had to cope with a range of injuries so far this season, but the depth in their squad has ensured there have been no hiccups due to key players being ruled out.

“It started with Harry. People said it about Hugo, but Michel Vorm replaced him against Liverpool. Eric showed it now,” the Belgian defender told The Mirror.
“There is a strength to this team. Especially after the summer transfer window, some great players came in.
“We can miss almost anyone, obviously not eight or nine players, but the squad is so strong.”
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are yet to be beaten in the Premier League so far, and are the only team with an unbeaten record. They have seen injuries to key players such as Hugo Lloris, Harry Kane and Toby Alderweireld, but are still yet to slip up as they look to fight for the league title again, having ran Leicester close last season.

Players such as Son Heung-Min have stepped up this season after an average first season at White Hart Lane, with his goals filling the void left by a misfiring and injured Kane. Vincent Janssen had been brought in to help with scoring goals, but his Spurs career is yet to take off.
Moussa Sissoko is another player who arrived in the summer, and while he is yet to hit the heights expected of him due to the massive fee paid, his versatility has certainly given Pochettino more options and taken the pressure off if players do get injured.
With key players soon to return from injury, Spurs are only going to get stronger, which has to be a terrifying thought for the rest of the Premier League.
