Tottenham ace Jan Vertonghen spoke to reporters after his side’s fine win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League last night, and was understandably delighted, but he did warn his teammates that they will be in for a difficult return leg against the Germans next month, as quoted by Sky Sports.

Spurs really have been magnificent in recent weeks, and they have somehow managed to remain in the hunt for the Premier League title without two of their best players – Harry Kane and Dele Alli.

Tottenham are also in with a great chance of progressing through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League after destroying Dortmund 3-0 last night, but Vertonghen issued a warning for his teammates ahead of next month’s second leg at Signal Iduna Park, as quoted by Sky Sports:

“Dortmund’s stadium is one of the most difficult places to go. We have been there a couple of times over the last years. We are going to see a different Dortmund so we have got to be prepared for that. Obviously, the result helps – it is a great result and I think if we put the same mentality on the pitch as we did we have to go through.”
