Can Celtic win the Scottish Premiership, the Scottish Cup and the Scottish League Cup this season?

Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink has suggested to The Glasgow Evening Times that Celtic can win the domestic treble this season.
The former Celtic striker, who is 37 years of age, believes that the winter break during the 2016-17 campaign will help Brendan Rodgers’s side in their quest to clinch the Scottish Premiership title, the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup.
“The last time they won the treble was 2001 so that says it all,” Vennegoor of Hesselink told The Glasgow Evening Times. “It’s not easy.
“Every year there are always big upsets when Rangers or Celtic are knocked out of the cup competitions by smaller clubs.
“But maybe the winter break will help because normally the season goes on and on and on. Maybe that will help Celtic’s bid for a treble.”

Celtic have not won the treble for 16 years, but perhaps this season the Hoops could achieve the feat.
The Bhoys have the strongest team in Scotland, but that does not mean that they will find it easy to win the treble.
Rodgers’s side are favourites to win the Scottish Premiership title this season, and they should be able to clinch it.

Cup competitions such as the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup are not that straightforward.
Celtic have progressed to the quarter-finals of the Scottish League Cup where they will take on Alloa Athletic later this month.
The Glasgow giants are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 12 points from four matches and have a game in hand.
