Premier League rivals Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur will face each other in the EFL Cup next month.

Jan Molby has suggested in The Liverpool Echo that Liverpool will win against Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup this season.
The Reds will take on Premier League rivals Tottenham in the fourth round of the EFL Cup. The match will be held at Anfield on Tuesday, October 25.
Former Liverpool star Molby has suggested that Jurgen Klopp’s side will get the better of the North London outfit.

The former Denmark international believes that Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino will not make the EFL Cup a priority due to Champions League commitments.
“I don’t think the EFL Cup will be the priority for Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs given their Champions League involvement and I fully expect Liverpool to take advantage of that, especially at home,” Molby wrote in The Liverpool Echo. “Still Liverpool will need to go and do their work.”

Liverpool are going strong in the Premier League at the moment, but Klopp will still take the EFL Cup seriously.
The Merseyside outfit’s fans will want to win a trophy this season, and the EFL Cup could be something to cheer about.
While Tottenham do have Champions League commitments and will also fancy their chances of winning the Premier League title, one should not underestimate their motivation to go on a run in the EFL Cup.
The EFL Cup tie between Liverpool and Tottenham should have a few goals and should be hugely entertaining.
