Former Sheffield United and Middlesbrough star Jan Aage Fjortoft does not seem to rate reported Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United target Christoph Kramer.
Jan Aage Fjortoft believes that Bayer Leverkusen defender Christoph Kramer is “overrated”.
The 23-year-old Germany international has been linked with Premier League outfits Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
Defensive midfielder Kramer rose to worldwide fame in the summer when he was part of the Germany team that won the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Currently on loan at Bundesliga outfit Borussia Monchengladbach, Kramer’s performances have reportedly attracted the interest of top European clubs.
However, Fjortoft, a former Middlesbrough and Sheffield United centre-forward and a well-known Bundesliga expert, does not believe in the ‘hype’ over Kramer.
Kramer’s loan spell with Monchengladbach runs out at the end of the season, and he is expected to return to Leverkusen thereafter.
