Can, who is 22 years of age, has established himself as a key figure in the current Liverpool team.

The Germany international is a versatile footballer who can operate as a midfielder or as a defender.

The former Bayer Leverkusen midfielder featured for Liverpool against Bournemouth in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
