Jan Aage Fjortoft has played down speculation over moves from Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United for Mats Hummels and Marco Reus.

Bundesliga football expert Jan Aage Fjortoft has clarified the futures of two key Borussia Dortmund stars.

Manchester United targets Mats Hummels and Marco Reus have both been tipped to leave BVB this winter, but Fjortoft has suggested that neither player will be going anywhere until next summer.

He’s so confident in his prediction that he’s encouraged fans to tell him he was wrong, using his above Tweet, on February 1 next year when the winter transfer window will officially slam shut.

It’s not just Manchester United who are thought to have an interest in both players, with Arsenal heavily linked with a potential move for Hummels while Liverpool and Bayern Munich have been touted as possible destinations for Reus.

Dortmund’s inconsistent start to the season has created speculation that key players could leave, but according to JAF, they’re both fully committed to the cause under Jurgen Klopp for the rest of the campaign.
