With Vardy’s first league goal of the season safely in the bag, he headed off on international duty with England for their World Cup Qualifying tie against Slovakia.
The 29-year-old started on the substitutes bench and failed to make an appearance for Sam Allardyce’s side, however.
He is now back training with the Leicester squad ahead of their trip to Liverpool on Saturday in the 17:30pm kick-off.
