Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has told The Telegraph that his rejection of Arsenal in 2016 doesn’t mean he wouldn’t reject another chance to leave the club, hinting that he could be open to leaving the King Power Stadium.
Vardy, 30, has been a remarkable success story in recent years, rising from non-league football with the likes of Stocksbridge Park Steels, Halifax Town and Fleetwood Town, to become a Premier League star.
Vardy hit 24 goals during the 2015/16 season to fire Leicester to the Premier League title, and he has also become an England international, with six goals in 17 caps to his name.

Vardy may have suffered a dip last season, but he remains a key part of the Leicester City, and he has spoken about the possibility of leaving the King Power Stadium in the near future.
The striker has told The Telegraph that, whilst he snubbed a move to Arsenal last summer, he would still consider moves away from Leicester, which may well attract clubs to make moves for him in 2018 – despite the fact that he will be 31.
“I want to win as much as possible, I don’t want to only have one Premier League medal in my drawer at home – it would be an empty glass cabinet,” said Vardy. “I want to win as much as possible. I’m contracted to Leicester and we will see how high we can go. In the future, who knows?”
“It was my choice to turn Arsenal down. But if another offer came in, it would be the same in that I would look at it and work out the pros and cons. But, no, turning down Arsenal doesn’t mean I wouldn’t look at another offer,” he added.

One club who have been touted with a move for Vardy is Everton, as The Mirror reported before last week’s transfer deadline that the Toffees wanted to spend big money on luring him to Goodison Park.
Everton’s director of football, Steve Walsh, not only worked with Vardy at Leicester, but it also credited with being the man who lured Vardy to the King Power Stadium from Fleetwood Town, so a move to reunite would be far from a surprise.
Everton lack pace in the final third, and failed to sign a new striker to replace Romelu Lukaku this past summer. Vardy, despite being over 30, fits the bill for Everton, and his new comments about being open to a move away means that Everton should reignite their interest in Vardy, having failed to sign him this past summer.
