Leeds United youngster Jamie Shackleton has responded to Kalvin Phillips’s post on Instagram following the match against Manchester United at Elland Road.
The Whites played out a goalless draw with United at Elland Road in the Premier League today.
England international midfielder Phillips had a very good game in the middle of the park, as he did not allow United star Bruno Fernandes time and space to weave his magic.
According to WhoScored, Phillips played three key passes, had a pass accuracy of 84.8%, took 72 touches, attempted two dribbles, made eight tackles, one interception and one clearance, and put in two crosses.
Shackleton, who can operate as a midfielder or as a right-back, has summed up Phillips’s performance against the Red Devils in one word – “machine”.

Phillips is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and is a big player for Leeds.
The 25-year-old has already played seven times for England, and it is very likely that he will be part of the Three Lions’ squad for the European Championship this summer.
The Leeds star is brilliant at protecting the back-line, and he can also drive the team forward.
