Well, this is why Newcastle United signed him.

The Magpies brought Bruno Guimaraes to the North East during the January transfer window.

It was one of the most high-profile deals to happen during the winter window, with Newcastle spending over £30 million on signing the Brazilian, who had been linked with Arsenal.

Bruno had to be patient and spent the first couple of months at Newcastle as a squad player.

But in terms of class, there’s few like him and he proved that this afternoon.

Eddie Howe’s side beat Leicester City 2-1 at St James’s Park and it was a 95th-minute winner from the former Lyon midfielder which ultimately got the victory for Newcastle.

However, Bruno also scored United’s first of the afternoon in what Jamie Reuben described on Twitter as an ‘epic performance’.

Howe’s troops are back up to 14th in the Premier League after this victory.

The 1-0 win over Wolves last week ended a three-game losing streak, but now it’s two in a row for Newcastle and hopefully they can finish the season strong.

Now that Bruno is undroppable, it’ll be fascinating to see how much better he becomes over the coming weeks and months.

Next season is a big one for the Magpies, with a lot of expectation on them, and maybe Bruno can be their go-to-guy for moments of inspiration.

As proven today, he certainly likes that responsibility.
