Ruben Loftus-Cheek compared to Tottenham talent Dele Alli.

Loftus-Cheek starred for England on Friday in a 0-0 draw with Germany, making the most of his Three Lions debut.
The young midfielder is on loan at Crystal Palace from Chelsea, and Redknapp believes the Blues have stunted his progress by failing to put their faith in him.

Redknapp compared Loftus-Cheek to Tottenham Hotspur talent Dele Alli, and argued that Spurs have given their midfield talent a platform his peer could only dream of.
He said of Loftus-Cheek’s struggle at Chelsea: “There are no such problems at Spurs, where manager Mauricio Pochettino picks young players.
“Alli is a good example of one who went from MK Dons to being a match-winner against Real Madrid.
“Would Loftus-Cheek have been given the same chance against Roma if he had stayed at Chelsea?
“It is remarkable that he is three months older than Alli, but has played 149 games fewer.”

Dele Alli made his England debut back in 2015, and has already featured at one major tournament.
Perhaps even it was Alli’s withdrawal from this England squad with an injury which gave Loftus-Cheek his opportunity.
Either way the 20-year-old seized it, and has turned himself into a contender to make the World Cup squad next summer.
Loftus-Cheek is stuck in a struggling Crystal Palace side at present but must ensure his club form is good if he is to earn another shot for the Three Lions.
