Jamie Redknapp explained why he believes Tottenham will beat Manchester City at Wembley tomorrow, when writing his column for Sky Sports.

Pep Guardiola’s side are in the midst of a really poor run of form, having lost their last three games, and they will be desperate wrap up the Premier League title as soon as possible, before nerves really begin to set in.

Mauricio Pochettino’s team, meanwhile, are on a fine run of form, and have not lost a Premier League game since December – their 4-1 defat to City.

Spurs still have not secured their place inside the top four, so will be desperate for all three points against the Citizens, which should equate to a wonderfully expansive game of football on display at Wembley.

Redknapp, who made 49 appearances for the Lilywhites, explained why he envisages a home win tomorrow, when writing his regular column for Sky Sports:

“City could have won the Champions League this season with a bit of luck in the draw. But Liverpool were the wrong team at the wrong time for them. Tottenham will take the same approach – and that’s why I think Spurs will beat City at Wembley. Spurs will press them, get after them – and they’re a really strong side. They’ve won seven of their last eight games and have lots of confidence after seeing that gap to Chelsea in fifth extend to 10 points.”

City need just five more points to wrap up the Premier League title, whilst Tottenham need nine more to secure their place inside the Champions League spots.

The game kicks off tomorrow at 19:45 and can be seen exclusively live on Sky Sports.
