West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has been heavily criticised this season.

When writing his column for the Daily Mail, Jamie Redknapp offered his opinion on West Ham’s season so far, highlighting the key difference between last year’s campaign and their current one.

Slaven Bilic’s side have actually managed to turn their season around in recent weeks, after taking seven points from their last three games, and now sit in 13th position in the Premier League table.

And a win at Swansea City today could take them inside the top half of the table.

The problem is that the troubles at West Ham seem to have been swept under the carpet, just because of a good couple of results, and there are still deep-rooted issues that need addressing at the football club.

And Redknapp highlighted a key area of concern for the Hammers, when writing his column for the Daily Mail:

“They have been a huge disappointment so far. I love Slaven Bilic but he seems to have lost some of last year’s passion. Last year it seemed like such a joy but now it looks like a chore.”

Bilic seems to be walking a tightrope at the moment, and despite the owners giving the Croatian their public backing, there is a sense that another run of underwhelming results and performances could lead to his exit from the Olympic Stadium hot-seat.
