The former midfielder insists Manchester United produced the best business of any Premier League side in the summer transfer window.

Jose Mourinho, who succeeded Louis van Gaal at Manchester United in May, did his business early this summer, completing deals for Eric Bailly, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Paul Pogba.
The Portuguese identified four targets, pursued them and successfully welcomed them, all before the league campaign got underway.
And Jamie Redknapp, speaking to Sky Sports, believes those four arrivals will make United a side rivals fear once again.

“They made a statement very early in the window, they didn’t mess around. Jose Mourinho brought in the players he wanted,” he told Sky Sports.
“You can see they suddenly look like the Manchester United of old again, with that fear factor back.
“I would have to say Paul Pogba has been the best signing. He’s more than a footballer, he even transcends Manchester United to a certain extent.
“Everyone talks about the haircuts, the kits, but kids absolutely adore him. I think he will be a star for the league.”

Mourinho has clearly had a huge impact on the players already. The memories of the last three seasons are quickly fading for the supporters at Old Trafford.
The team have made a spectacular start, taking maximum points from games against Bournemouth, Southampton and Hull City.
After the international break, United face their biggest test in the Manchester derby. Full of confidence, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the winning run continuing and momentum growing come the final whistle on September 10.
