Jamie Redknapp is backing Manuel Lanzini to go on a run of form.

Pundit Jamie Redknapp has told the Daily Mail that he thinks West Ham have desperately missed left back Aaron Cresswell – and is predicting a great run of form for Manuel Lanzini.
The Hammers went in to Saturday’s game away at Crystal Palace having won just one of their first seven Premier League games, but came up with a surprise win at Selhurst Park against an in-form Eagles side.
Manuel Lanzini’s goal handed West Ham a victory, though the Hammers did ride their luck at times; Christian Benteke missed a penalty for Palace before left back Aaron Cresswell was sent off.

Ultimately though, West Ham managed to cling on for all three points in South London, handing under-fire manager Slaven Bilic a much-needed victory.
West Ham will be hoping to use that result as a springboard to kickstart their season, and two players have now been hailed by pundit Jamie Redknapp.

Redknapp, speaking to the Daily Mail, stated that he thinks West Ham have desperately missed left back Cresswell, as he links up well with star man Dimitri Payet down the left hand side of midfield.
Cresswell has been missing for the whole season so far with injury, but returned with great effect by setting up Lanzini’s goal against Palace.
Redknapp added that he now thinks Argentinian playmaker Manuel Lanzini will go on a great run of form having scored against Palace, tipping him to take some of the creative pressure off Payet.

“How West Ham have missed Aaron Cresswell,” said Redknapp. “The left back adds so much to Slaven Bilic’s side. Cresswell gets the best out of Dimitri Payet. The French magician is at his best when he has someone working outside him and making runs past him and that’s how the two combined to set up West Ham’s winner at Crystal Palace.”
“Manuel Lanzini rounded off the move with a fine finish and I now expect the Argentine to go on a run. He has so much ability and can take the pressure off Payet, helping West Ham climb the table. Cresswell was very unlucky to be sent off and West Ham will miss him against Sunderland on Saturday,” he added.
