Jamie Redknapp has been a fan of Lewis Cook since his Leeds United days.

Pundit Jamie Redknapp has told the Daily Mail that he thinks Bournemouth midfielder Lewis Cook is ‘destined for the top’ after impressing against Tottenham Hotspur.
Bournemouth were in action against Spurs on Sunday afternoon, and looked to be causing a surprise when Junior Stanislas put the Cherries in front.
Harry Kane’s injury appeared to put Bournemouth in the driving seat, but Dele Alli equalised for the visitors before Son Heung-min struck two second half goals, and Serge Aurier added another to hand Spurs a 4-1 win.

Bournemouth may have fallen apart, but one player did catch the eye, with midfielder Lewis Cook starring for Eddie Howe’s side.
A 2016 signing from Leeds, Cook made just six Premier League appearances last season, but has developed into an important first-team player this term, with 22 league appearances to his name.
Cook impressed against Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama in the heart of midfield on Sunday, earning huge praise from pundit Jamie Redknapp after the game.

Redknapp has told the Daily Mail that he first spotted Cook with Leeds, but feels he has come on ‘leaps and bounds’ since heading to Bournemouth, and turned in a mature display on Sunday.
Redknapp added that Cook – a £20million target for Liverpool according to The Sun – is destined for the top, and his performance against Spurs was ‘brilliant’.
“Lewis Cook may have made a mistake for Tottenham’s third goal but that should not take away from what was a brilliant performance,” said Redknapp. “Such was his maturity in midfield against Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele that it is hard to believe he has just turned 21.”
“He has been on my radar since his days at Leeds but he has come on leaps and bounds at Bournemouth. In a year or so I am in little doubt he will get a chance to play for one of the big six sides. This boy is destined for the top,” he added.
