West Ham United’s Arthur Masuaku impressed on Saturday.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Jamie Redknapp has singled out West Ham United’s Arthur Masuaku for praise following Saturday’s heroic 1-0 win over Premier League champions Chelsea.
David Moyes stopped the rot as West Ham picked up their first league victory since September, courtesy of a sixth-minute strike from Marko Arnautovic.
It was also Moyes’s first win as Irons boss since replacing Slaven Bilic last month and the shock victory owes much to something of managerial masterstroke from the Scot, who deployed Masuaku as a left wing-back, while Aaron Cresswell played on the outside of a three-man defence.

One quandry which Bilic was unable to solve was how to include Masuaku’s undoubted attacking threat in the same team as Cresswell’s defensive capabilities, but the former Everton boss found a relatively simple solution which paid off big time.
The jet-heeled 24-year-old hasn’t always been adored by fans following his £6.2 million switch from Olympiacos 18 months ago, but it’s clear that he has talent and Redknapp highlighted his threat on Sky Sports after the game.
“He was fantastic, you can see he has been a winger.

“Today he had cresswell there for every time he went forward. I thought he was magnificent today.”
The Frenchman struggled for large parts of his debut season, but it’s obvious that he has been gradually getting to grips with life in the Premier League and West Ham fans will be looking forward to seeing what he can do against Arsenal next week.
