Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich Town will face each other in the Championship this afternoon.

Former Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp said on the Sky Sports Now show on Sky Sports News HQ on Friday morning (broadcast from 10am, November 4, 2016) that Sheffield Wednesday will win against Ipswich Town this weekend.

“Ipswich are really struggling at the moment, can’t really get many wins,” said Redknapp on the Sky Sports Now show on Sky Sports News HQ on Friday morning (broadcast from 10am, November 4, 2016.

“(Sheffield Wednesday) are playing really good football. I like watching (them), good technicians in midfield, and that’s why I have gone for a Sheffield Wednesday win.

“Ipswich can’t buy a win at the moment, so I am going for a Sheffield Wednesday home win.”

Wednesday will head into the match against Ipswich on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Derby County away from home at the iPro Stadium in the Championship.

The Owls have not been at their best so far this season, but the fans should be confident of a home win on Saturday afternoon.

Carlos Carvalhal’s side are ninth in the Championship table at the moment with 24 points from 15 matches.

Wednesday are level on points with Bristol City, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.

Meanwhile, Ipswich currently find themselves 16th in the league table with 18 points from 15 games.

Mick McCarthy’s side are just four points above the relegation zone and have to start putting together a run of positive results soon.
