Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies has come back into Mauricio Pochettino’s first-team this season.

Jamie Redknapp has suggested to Sky Sports, during their live coverage of Tottenham Hotspur’s match against Manchester United, that Ben Davies deserves a lot of credit for his performances recently.
Davies looked to have been left behind by Danny Rose at White Hart Lane earlier this season, with the Welsh international only a back-up option.
However, since Rose picked up an injury back in January, Davies has stepped in to fill the void impressively.

The former Swansea City man has started Spurs’ last 13 Premier League matches, and his performances seem to be growing stronger.
Davies was in excellent form yesterday, as Spurs picked up a 2-1 victory.
He floated in a cross for Victor Wanyama to open the scoring, and looked comfortable throughout the contest.
And Redknapp said: “Ben Davies deserve a lot of credit, because they’ve hardly missed Danny Rose. He deserves a special mention.”
Rose is now closing in on making a return to fitness, after returning to Spurs training, but he faces a fight to win back his place in Mauricio Pochettino’s first-team.
