Jamie Redknapp has hailed Watford ace Richarlison.
Richarlison of Watford
Pundit Jamie Redknapp has told the Daily Mail that he felt Watford forward Richarlison ‘dazzled’ against West Ham United on Sunday afternoon.
After three defeats in a row and mounting speculation over the future of in-demand manager Marco Silva, Watford needed a positive result against West Ham – and they got just that.
Midfielder Will Hughes opened the scoring with his first Premier League goal, before he then set up Richarlison for a second after the break, taking the Hornets back up to eighth place in the Premier League table.

Brazilian forward Richarlison continues to impress, and that goal means he has now found the net five times in 12 Premier League games, whilst he has also notched two assists.
Snapped up from Fluminense, Richarlison has made a stunning impact at Vicarage Road, and has now been hailed by pundit Jamie Redknapp, who has once again compared him to Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.
Redknapp has told the Daily Mail that he felt Richarlison ‘dazzled’ against West Ham, but wants to see the forward put in the hard yards in training to fulfil his huge potential.

“I wish I had been blessed with the unique talent to drift past defenders that Richarlison possesses,” said Redknapp. “The Brazilian dazzled in Watford’s win over West Ham and, with the right application, he can reach the very top. Cristiano Ronaldo became a great player through his dedication as well as ability. He was the last man on the training pitch and in the gym. I see real promise in Richarlison – now he’s got to put in the hard yards,” he added.
Speculation is already surrounding Richarlison’s future at Vicarage Road, with the London Evening Standard reporting that Tottenham are interested in signing him, by offering up either Georges-Kevin Nkoudou or Josh Onomah in part-exchange.
If Richarlison continues to impress, his fee will continue to rise and rise – and Redknapp’s praise sums up just why Tottenham are believed to be so keen on signing him in 2018, as Mauricio Pochettino could certainly do with Richarlison’s ‘unique talent to drift past defenders’, as Redknapp stated.
