Virgil van Dijk played well for Liverpool against Fulham.

Jamie Redknapp has praised Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk in The Daily Mail.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool midfielder noticed what Van Dijk did during the Reds’ breakaway goal against Fulham at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
While goalkeeper Alisson showed great intelligence by taking the free kick quickly, Redknapp has given credited to his Netherlands international central defender for instructing the Brazil international to do so.
The former England international has also said that Van Dijk is proving that he is worth every penny of the £75 million that Liverpool paid Premier League rivals Southampton in January 2018 to sign the former Celtic central defender, as reported by BBC Sport.
Redknapp wrote in The Daily Mail: “Liverpool’s breakaway goal against Fulham looked like a great piece of quick thinking from Alisson.
“Watch the replay more closely and you’ll see it is Virgil van Dijk who tells his goalkeeper to take the free-kick quickly.
“A moment of ingenuity and leadership like this highlights Van Dijk’s value to Jurgen Klopp’s side. With every week that passes, the £75m man is proving he is worth every penny.”
