Tottenham Hotspur have yet to make a move in the transfer market this summer.
Pundit Jamie Redknapp has told Sky Sports that he isn’t worried about Tottenham’s lack of transfer activity in the summer window so far.
Tottenham finished second in the Premier League table last season as they couldn’t catch league champions Chelsea, but Champions League football has been secured once again.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino went into the summer with a strong squad, and he has so far resisted making any moves in the transfer market to boost his squad.
Players have been linked with moves to North London, but Tottenham have so far maintained a status quo from last season, with no major departures either.
Kyle Walker and Eric Dier have both been linked with moves away from the club, but it has been such a quiet summer for Spurs that nobody has come in, and no key players have left.
Fans are keen to see Spurs splash the cash this summer, but chairman Daniel Levy is unlikely to sanction big transfer fees – especially with a new stadium on the way.
Now, pundit and former Spurs midfielder Jamie Redknapp has told Sky Sports that he isn’t worried about Tottenham’s lack of activity, as he feels it’s difficult for them to improve on their starting line-up.

Redknapp thinks Spurs face the hardest task in the Premier League when it comes to buying players, but wants to see Pochettino add depth to his squad before the start of the season.
“I’m not so worried about Tottenham,” said Redknapp. “I said this at the end of last season but for Spurs it’s probably the most difficult for them to acquire players because they’ve got it all there. The two centre-backs are fantastic. Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen are probably the best two centre-backs in the Premier League. They’ve got a great midfield with Dele Alli, Mousa Dembele and Eric Dier.”
“You’ve got Harry Kane up front so if you buy a striker he’s only going to be someone who wants to come in and play every now and again. They are the team who face the hardest task buying players. If you can go and get someone to maybe take the burden off Dele Alli in the number 10 role or strengthen in one of the wide areas, I can see that but it is a bit more difficult with Tottenham. If anything they just need to thicken the squad up,” he added.
