Pundit Jamie Redknapp has told the Daily Mail that he felt Tottenham missed Harry Kane against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
Spurs travelled to The Hawthorns with no defeats in their first seven Premier League games, and were coming off the back of a superb 2-0 win over league leaders Manchester City before the international break.
Whilst Tottenham dominated the game against West Brom, they fell behind to a goal from former Spurs winger Nacer Chadli, and has to rely on Dele Alli to grab a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino will be a little disappointed that his side didn’t claim all three points, and many have suggested that the international break halted Tottenham’s momentum following that win over Manchester City.
Some players looked a little sluggish upon their return from international duty, whilst Pochettino was even forced to leave winger Heung-min Son on the bench after his travelling with South Korea.

Spurs may have already turned their attention to Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Bayer Leverkusen, but pundit and former Tottenham midfielder Jamie Redknapp has offered is verdict on the performance.
Redknapp told the Daily Mail that he felt Tottenham were blunt against West Brom, and ultimately missed the ‘cutting edge’ that injured striker Harry Kane brings to the team.

Redknapp also agreed with the notion that the international break damaged Tottenham, and came at the worst possible time for Pochettino’s men.
“The international break couldn’t have come at a worse time for Tottenham,” said Redknapp. “After beating Manchester City so convincingly, they will have wanted to play again as quickly as possible to keep the momentum going.”
“West Brom are a difficult team to break down but Spurs could have done with the cutting edge supplied by Harry Kane. Dele Alli’s late equaliser will have given Spurs a massive confidence boost, though, as they remain the only unbeaten side in the league,” he added.
