The Tottenham Hotspur manager has been linked with the Manchester United hot-seat.

Jamie Redknapp spoke exclusively to Sky Sports last night, and shared his belief that if Manchester United make a move for Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, they ill almost certainly get him.

Jose Mourinho was sacked from his role as United boss on Tuesday, and Spurs fans would have been fearing the worst, with their manager’s name constantly being linked with the Old Trafford post.

The Lilywhites have been given a slight repressive, however, with Ole Gunnar Solskjær being appointed as interim boss until the end of the season.

Tottenham boss Pochettino has worked wonders since taking over in north London in May 2014, and many regard him as one of the world’s best managers.

Redknapp, though, believes it will only be a matter of time until Poch takes over at United.

He told Sky Sports how United will get the Argentine, if they do in fact make a move for him:

“They have to keep him. Tottenham’s history over the last 20 years, they’ve let a lot of their best players go, they can’t let their best managers go. It would show a real lack of ambition if they did that. I think Manchester United will get him. I think they’ll go for him, and I think they’ll get him.”

Tottenham are set to move into their new 62,000 capacity stadium sometime in the new year, so that might be enough to tempt Poch into hanging around for at least another season.

Daniel Levy will surely fight tooth and nail to keep hold of the Argentine, because he has, after-all, totally transformed Tottenham into a team who are good enough to win major honours, both home and abroad.
