The West Ham United youngster has been quite simply brilliant this season.

Jamie Redknapp raved about West Ham ace Declan Rice, when writing his regular column for the Daily Mail, suggesting that he has been one of the best young players in the Premier League this season.
The 20-year-old has really risen to prominence this season, making 38 appearances in all competitions for the Hammers, and he has made the deep-lying midfield position his own under Manuel Pellegrini.
Rice has come on leaps and bounds over the past 12 months, and his fine form for West Ham coincided with his call-up to the England national team in March, when he earned two caps for his country.
And Redknapp spoke highly of the Hammers starlet, when writing his regular column for the Daily Mail, pinpointing his goal against Arsenal earlier this season as a particular highlight:

“Until that rocket last week (Vincent Kompany’s goal for Manchester City), my favourite moment had been Declan Rice’s first goal for West Ham to sink Arsenal. He has been one of the best young players this season and you could see the joy written all over his face.”
Rice recently signed a new contract with West Ham that runs until the summer of 2024, and Hammers fans will be hoping that the 20-year-old remains at the London Stadium for at least the duration of that deal.
