Should Tottenham Hotspur hand Harry Kane a new contract?

Former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp has suggested in The Daily Mail that Tottenham Hotspur should hand Harry Kane a new contract.
According to The Mirror, talks over a new deal between Tottenham and Kane have been postponed until the end of the season.
The England international striker reportedly wants in excess of £100,000-a-week as salary.
According to The Sun, Kane earns £60,000 a week at the moment, while summer signing Moussa Sissoko gets £95,000 per week as salary.
Former Tottenham midfielder Redknapp has highlighted the importance of handing the 23-year-old striker a new deal.
“Tottenham have to pull out all the stops and give Harry Kane the big money he deserves,” Redknapp wrote in The Daily Mail.
“They have always maintained a wage ceiling and have never really gone to the level of Manchester City or Chelsea. It proves they are a well-run club but if they want to kick on, they need to keep hold of Kane.
“His two goals against West Ham are a reminder of just how important he is to Mauricio Pochettino’s team. Every side would love to have him.”

Kane is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and is a key figure in the current Tottenham team.
The England international striker scored twice in the 3-2 victory over West Ham United at White Hart Lane in the league on Saturday evening.
The 23-year-old has scored five goals and created eight chances in seven Premier League appearances for Spurs so far this season.
Spurs are fifth in the league table at the moment with 24 points from 12 matches.
