Jamie Redknapp wouldn’t pick Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Winks over Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson in a combined XI.

Jamie Redknapp has told Sky Bet that he is a big fan of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks, but selected Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson ahead of him in a combined XI between both clubs ahead of Sunday’s clash at Wembley.
The 21-year-old Spurs man has been a revelation for Mauricio Pochettino’s side and impressed in Tuesday’s 1-1 draw away to Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Winks earned his first England cap earlier this month and his profile is certainly rising under the Argentine manager.

But would he get into Liverpool’s best XI? Not according to Redknapp.
The former Liverpool midfielder says he prefers the Reds’ skipper over Winks at this moment in time, but believes that Henderson simply must do more.

He told Sky Bet: “I like Harry Winks. He’s a man after my own heart. He keeps it simple, a good footballer, but I would go with Henderson on this one.
“But I want to see more of Jordan I have to be honest. He’s Liverpool captain. I want to see him step up and really show what he can do, but I’ll go with Jordan.”
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp dropped Henderson for the 7-0 demolition of Maribor on Tuesday, but there is every chance he was simply keeping him in reserve for Sunday’s trip to in-form Tottenham.
If not, then James Milner, who was outstanding in Slovenia instead of the former Sunderland man, is an able replacement.
Redknapp, who also punted for Philippe Coutinho over Dele Alli, named his team as:
Goalkeeper – Hugo Lloris
Defence – Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Davinson Sanchez
Midfield – Eric Dier, Jordan Henderson, Emre Can
Attack – Christian Eriksen, Harry Kane, Philippe Coutinho
