Dominic Solanke joined Liverpool in the summer transfer window after leaving Chelsea at the end of last season.
Solanke has joined Liverpool in the summer transfer window on a free after leaving Premier League rivals Chelsea at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
The 19-year-old is a very promising and talented young striker, and Anfield faithful must have high hopes for him.
Former Liverpool midfielder Redknapp has revealed that two years ago the teenager told him that he models his game on Chelsea striker Diego Costa.

Costa is one of the best strikers in the Premier League and was an influential figure in the Blues winning the league title in 2014-15 and 2016-17.
The 28-year-old Spain international also played a key role in Atletico Madrid clinching the La Liga title during the 2013-14 campaign.

“There has been a lot of talk about Diego Costa and Nemanja Matic leaving but in the long term, Solanke’s departure could be the one Chelsea regret the most,” Redknapp wrote in The Daily Mail.
“When I first met him two years ago he told me he models his game on Costa. He wants to be an aggressive centre forward and will be licking his lips at the chances Liverpool will create for him.
“He may not start many games early on, but as the season progresses he will have a big part to play. Don’t rule out an England call-up.”
Liverpool will kick off their 2017-18 Premier League campaign with a game against Watford away from home at Vicarage Road on Saturday afternoon.
