Tottenham Hotspur drew 2-2 with Liverpool in their last match, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side picking up a point.

Pochettino claimed that Spurs had deserved to win after the match, and that Liverpool were lucky to get a point after a 2-2 draw.
However, Redknapp felt that Spurs’ first half performance was poor – and that a draw represented a fair result.
He said: “I’m not sure I subscribe to that theory. I’m a big fan of Mauricio, but there has to be a reason why for the last 29 away games against the top six they haven’t kept a clean sheet, and that was evident in the first half.

“Liverpool could have been two or three up at half-time, but second half they did get hold of the game. To say they should have won, I don’t know, because I don’t think they did enough first-half.”
Tottenham had fallen 1-0 down at Anfield in the first-half, but they did step up their game in the second period to claim a point.
Spurs equalised through a belter from Victor Wanyama, before a wonderful individual goal from Mohamed Salah put Liverpool back in front.

At that stage it had seemed as if Jurgen Klopp’s side were destined to pick up the three points, but Harry Kane scored from the spot to make the score 2-2 in the last minute.
The draw keeps Spurs right in contention to claim a top four spot, with Pochettino’s side currently sat in just one point behind Chelsea.
