Jamie Redknapp has told Sky Sports that he disagrees with Seamus Coleman’s comments, following Everton’s defeat to Burnley.

Coleman suggested that Everton should be going to Turf Moor and picking up the three points after the contest.

However, Redknapp claims that Everton should not feel so entitled, as Burnley were by far the better side yesterday.

“I thought Seamus Coleman summed it up. He said ‘we should be coming here getting three points’. Why should you? You’ve won one game away from home all season,” Redknapp said. “There’s a reason for that. Burnley were the better side.”

Coleman actually claimed an assist in the contest, when he flicked Theo Walcott’s cross on to Cenk Tosun’s head.

That goal gave Everton the lead, but they were unable to hold on.

Burnley scored twice in the second half to turn the game on its head, and inflict further misery on the Toffees.

Ashley Barnes first scored a leveller, before Chris Wood’s late strike stole the three points.

Everton are now in 10th place in the Premier League table, with Sam Allardyce coming in for further criticism now.
