Jamie Redknapp has told Sky Sports that for Tottenham Hotspur to win the Premier League title this season, they have to win each and every game left in the Premier League.

The former Tottenham midfielder made the comments following the North London outfit’s 2-1 defeat to Burnley away from home at Turf Moor in the league at the weekend.

The loss this past Saturday afternoon means that Spurs are now six points behind leaders Liverpool and five points behind second-placed Manchester City in third position in the league table.

Redknapp believes that for Mauricio Pochettino’s side to win the league title this season, they have to win each and every game.

“Their goal difference is poorer and they have to somehow go on a run and win every game now,” Redknapp told Sky Sports about Tottenham. ”It’s as simple as that.”

Title challenge over?

Tottenham have been on a good run until their defeat to Burnley at the weekend, and one suspects that the North London outfit will bounce back.

With big games against Chelsea and Arsenal coming up in the next few days, Spurs will have their work cut out.

Tottenham will have to be on top of their game to pick up maximum points against London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal.
