Tanguy Ndombele made his debut for Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend.

Ndombele made his competitive debut for Tottenham against Aston Villa at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
The 22-year-old midfielder opened the scoring for Spurs in the 73rd minute and played well in the second half, as manager Mauricio Pochettino’s side won 3-1.
The France international, though, did not have a great opening 45 minutes, but he grew into the game.
According to WhoScored, the youngster took two shots of which one was on target, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 85.5%, took 71 touches, and made three tackles and one interception.
Former Tottenham midfielder Redknapp has given his take on the performance of Ndombele and has given an honest view.
Football.London quotes Redknapp as saying about Ndombele: “He had some strange moments and did start to get tired. He looked like he might come off before he scored. He made a massive impression with his goal.”

One player who did not feature against Villa on Saturday evening was Jan Vertonghen.
The Belgium international is fully fit, but the central defender was not even in the matchday squad.
Following the match, Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino explained his decision to leave Vertonghen out of the team, suggesting to BBC Sport that Davinson Sanchez and Toby Alderweireld were better options for the match.
Former Spurs star Rafael van der Vaart believes that Vertonghen has to be in the starting lineup when he is fit.
Football.London quotes Van der Vaart as saying about Vertonghen: “I’m surprised because he is one of the best players. It was strange that he was not in the squad.
“Maybe something happened and he said he wants to go. When he’s fit, he’s a hundred percent a starting player.”
