Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has been linked with loan moves to Sevilla and Inter Milan.

Jamie Redknapp has told Sky Sports that a move abroad could “suit” Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge and book his ticket to the World Cup in the summer.
According to Sky Sports, both Sevilla and Inter Milan are interested in taking the 28-year-old, who has only made five Premeir League starts this season, on loan until the end of the campaign.
Former Liverpool midfielder Redknapp thinks that the less physical nature of football on the continent could help the injury-prone striker find the sort of consistent form and fitness that would make him a “certainty” to go to Russia with England.

“It might suit him to go abroad,” Redknapp told Sky Sports. “I’ve been that player, when you’re injured and desperate, and you just want to play football. You’d do anything to get out there on the field. He might think a change of scenery will be good for him.
“Maybe he feels the rigours of the Premier League are too demanding on someone like him who gets a lot of injuries. It’s a fascinating one. But if he’s fit and firing he’s a certainty for the England squad.
“But the problem is he’s never fit and it makes it so difficult for a manager to trust him. In terms of ability he’s up there with the best. His goal-scoring record is brilliant. But his ability to play consistently isn’t.”

Sturridge has an outstanding scoring record for Liverpool, with 48 goals in 67 Premier League starts, however a series of injuries has meant that he has missed 26% of games over the past three seasons.
The emergence of Roberto Firmino, who misses only three per cent of matches with injury, as an established number nine has also meant that Jurgen Klopp has had to gamble less on Sturridge’s fitness.
The former Manchester City and Chelsea forward last played for England in October 2017, and is competing with Jamie Vardy, Marcus Rashford and Danny Welbeck for a place in Gareth Southgate’s squad.
