Jamie Redknapp thinks Everton should use money from selling Romelu Lukaku to sign Joe Hart.
England’s Joe Hart
Pundit Jamie Redknapp has told the Daily Mail that he thinks Manchester City’s Joe Hart would be the perfect signing for Everton this summer.
Hart joined City from hometown club Shrewsbury Town way back in 2006, and racked up almost 350 first-team appearances for the club, whilst winning two Premier League titles.
Whilst Hart was a popular figure with City fans, he didn’t get the same love from manager Pep Guardiola last summer, with the Spaniard bringing in Claudio Bravo from Barcelona as his new first-choice goalkeeper.
That left Hart on the fringes of the side, and rather than kick his heels on the City bench, he headed out on loan, joining Italian side Torino in a surprise loan move.

Hart, 30, has endured his ups and downs in Serie A, but has kept his place as England’s first-choice goalkeeper, and has put himself in the shop window for a permanent move away from City this summer.
It’s unclear just who will sign Hart, but pundit Jamie Redknapp has suggested that he would be the perfect addition for Ronald Koeman’s Everton.
The Toffees have two established goalkeepers in Joel Robles and Maarten Stekelenburg, but neither have been able to prove that they are the long-term solution between the sticks for Koeman’s side.

Everton are expected to sign a new goalkeeper this summer, and pundit Redknapp has told the Daily Mail that Hart would be the ideal fit at Goodison Park – particularly if Koeman can splash the cash from any Romelu Lukaku sale.
“Will we see the return of Joe Hart? Everton could be a perfect fit for England’s No 1,” said Redknapp. “Ronald Koeman needs a top goalkeeper and will have the funds to bring in Hart — especially if Romelu Lukaku makes a big-money move,” he added.
