The Nottingham Forest winger, on loan at Huddersfield, lauded the West Ham man on social media.
Nottingham Forest’s Jamie Paterson (currently on loan at Huddersfield Town) heaped praise on former team-mate Michail Antonio after he scored another winner for West Ham United.
The 25-year-old has been in fine form at Upton Park recently and netted for the second West Ham game in a row on Wednesday night.
Paterson, meanwhile, sent the ex-Nottingham Forest man a short message of praise on Twitter.
Suddenly, two 1-0 wins in a row have added a new lease of life to the Hammers’ season – after a patch of inconsistency and injury troubles.
West Ham are only 11 points off top, five off third and one off fourth and fifth (although Manchester City have a game in hand).
Former Nottingham Forest man Antonio, meanwhile, has been key to their form in recent weeks – and crucial during West Ham’s last two games, having scored the winner both times.
Next up for the east London side is a trip to Everton on Saturday afternoon.
