Jamie O’Hara has said on talkSPORT (8:14am, September 27, 2021) that Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy should have appointed Graham Potter instead of Nuno.

The former Tottenham midfielder made the comment following Spurs’ defeat to Arsenal in the North London derby this past weekend.

Tottenham suffered a 3-1 loss at the hands of Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

TalkSPORT pundit O’Hara is not happy with Spurs head coach Nuno, who was appointed in the role in the summer.

The Englishman believes that Tottenham should have appointed Brighton and Hove Albion boss Potter as the new manager.

O’Hara said on talkSPORT (8:14am, September 27, 2021): “Should have got Graham Potter.”

Nuno was available when Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy appointed him.

The Portuguese had left Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of last season.

So, Levy did not have to pay any compensation fee for Nuno.

Potter, 46, is in charge of Brighton at the moment, and Spurs would have had to pay a compensation fee to the Seagulls.

Now, Nuno is not a bad manager, but it is clear that things need to pick up for Spurs.

Tottenham’s football also needs to improve, as the North London club are struggling to create chances and are conceding far too many goals than they should.
