Jamie O’Hara has seemingly questioned Chelsea’s call to allow Armando Broja to leave Chelsea on transfer deadline day.

Sources have told HITC Football that the Chelsea striker is heading to Fulham on a loan deal until the end of the season – Here is everything you need to know about when the winter transfer window will slam shut.

We can also confirm that there is no obligation to buy and the cost of this loan deal will be a maximum of £4 million.

Jamie O’Hara thinks Armando Broja has ‘a lot of talent’ and he is a ‘good signing’ for Marco Silva’s side, as he told Deadline Day on Sky Sports (01/02/24 at 5:10 pm).

The 22-year-old has featured sporadically for Mauricio Pochettino this season, never completing 90 minutes and only having one goal to his name.

Even though Chelsea themselves are struggling up front, they are happy to see their academy product head for the exit door and make a name for himself – here are all the ins and outs of the winter transfer window.

Some would question why Chelsea are doing that because they are sitting tenth in the Premier League table and it’s an issue that was raised by Jamie O’Hara.

Armando Broja to join Fulham on loan

“I think he is an all-round striker,” said O’Hara. “He has got a lot of talent. I am surprised Chelsea are letting him go. They are struggling up front as well. They don’t seem to be finding the answer as to who will be that focal point.

“He is quick. He can finish. I think he is a good signing for Fulham because Jimenez, I like him at Fulham, but they have struggled to score in recent weeks, to have someone to come in and offer something different. I think he is a really talented football player.

“I think it will be a really good move for him personally because I think he is in and out at Chelsea. He isn’t playing week in and week out. If he went to Fulham, then he would probably feature every week until the end of the season. They need goals and he has got levels in him.”

Armando Broja will come good

The talent is there. He has the attributes. The rising star just needs the coaching, confidence, structure and regular minutes to start proving his worth.

Chelsea, for whatever reason and despite their abject performances for 18 months, think they are too good for him when they are just not good enough themselves.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if Broja, from now until the end of the season, outscores his Chelsea teammates across London.

Either way, it’s a clear sign to the player that, come the summer, he needs to head for the exit door and make a name for himself elsewhere because he will explode at a club, if handed the proper chances.
