Arsenal are reportedly in talks to sign Leeds United attacker Raphinha and Jamie O’Hara claims that after deals for Fabio Vieira and Gabriel Jesus – the ex-Spurs midfielder says he “might delete Twitter” if they get the Leeds talent.

Raphinha, 25, is a target for Barcelona. But Xavi’s side are struggling to raise the finances to land the Brazil international. Barcelona are prioritising a move for Robert Lewandowski this summer.

Reports state that Tottenham are also in talks with the player’s agent, while a meeting has been scheduled between Edu and Raphinha’s representatives – Portuguese legend Deco – this week. Leeds want around £55million.

Speaking about Arsenal’s work in the window so far, Tottenham fan and ex-Spurs midfielder O’Hara says he has been impressed by the reportedly imminent signing of Jesus. He says he “might delete Twitter” if Arsenal get Raphinha.

Gabriel Jesus would be a top signing, I’ve always been impressed by him,” O’Hara told TalkSPORT on Monday morning, at 9.55AM. He continued: “And if they get Raphinha as well, then I might delete Twitter.”

Arsenal are closing in on a brilliant window at this early stage. They needed a midfielder, they have brought in Vieira. Marquinihos is an exciting talent, and they definitely needed a striker – Jesus is a top, top addition.

What else do the Gunners need? A holding midfielder, cover at full-back and a winger. Nicolas Pepe could leave and competition for the likes of Bukayo Saka is a necessity. £63,500 a week (Spotrac) Raphinha would be a stunning move.
