Roy Keane recently urged Manchester United to solve their striker problems by securing the signature of Tottenham Hotspur hitman Harry Kane.

Jamie O’Hara has claimed that Tottenham have ‘more of a chance’ of winning the Premier League title than Manchester United as he urged TalkSport pundit Stuart Pearce to ‘stop’ talking about the Spurs man potentially moving to Old Trafford.
On Sunday, Roy Keane urged United to sign Spurs hitman Kane to solve their attacking problems, and former England coach Pearce responded to those claims on TalkSport.
Pearce thinks that Kane is the type of professional Man Utd need in their Old Trafford dressing room, but he did point out that Champions League football and Kane’s loyalty towards Spurs, would make it difficult for the struggling Manchester club to sign him.
Former Spurs midfielder O’Hara responded to Pearce’s comments, as he is keen for those to ‘stop’ thinking that Kane will be moving to United. Here are Pearce’s comments followed by O’Hara’s tweet:
“No, it wouldn’t be [an easy decision for Kane to leave Spurs for United now],” Pearce told TalkSport. “A), his affection for the club. He is one of few players who has a real connection for the club he plays for. That’s going to be a problem [in prising him away].
“No Champions League football at Old Trafford, at the moment, so that’s a problem as well. That’s what players want. But when you look at United in years gone by that’s what Sir Alex used to do. Van Nistelrooy, Cole, Sheringham, Berbatov.
“He used to go out and buy the best centre-forward that was on offer at the time. Also, there was question marks about the character of the dressing room at United, if you sign Harry Kane, you get one of the top characters.”

In years gone by, any top striker not playing for Manchester United moving to Old Trafford was a given but the club has lost that once-powerful aura now.
Even with Spurs seemingly in decline, they are still playing Champions League football and many would think they still have more of a chance of finishing in the top-four than they do.
Kane has come through the ranks at Spurs, and even a club in a strong position in their respective league and in Europe, would find it difficult to prise Kane away from the North London club, so it would be a real surprise to see him depart any time soon.
