Jamie O’Hara makes claim about Manchester United’s Paul Pogba & Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson

Liverpool finished a mammoth 31 points ahead of Manchester United during the recently concluded Premier League campaign.

Jamie O’Hara has claimed that Manchester United’s Paul Pogba would be the ‘best midfielder in the world by a country mile’ if he had the ‘attitude’ of Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson.

During the recently concluded campaign, Pogba came under huge stick for his performances in a United shirt, whilst their bitter rivals Liverpool, led by Henderson, enjoyed a successful campaign by winning the Champions League trophy.

Sky Sports have reported that Manchester United expect Pogba to stay at the club this summer, as his future comes into question.

Speaking to the Final World on TalkSport (16/06/2019), O’Hara made a stunning claim about Pogba when comparing him to a Liverpool player.

On Pogba: “As a player, talent wise, he is world class,” O’Hara told the Final Word. “No, I don’t think they [Manchster United] can [replace him if he leaves]. I don’t what world class players will want to go to them right now.

“Pobga is that player, even though he’s not done it for Man Utd and his worth ethic and his attitude towards the club is a disgrace, but he’s done it, he’s won the World Cup, he’s a world class player. I don’t think they can attract that sort of player, that’s why they are going to keep hold of him and let him get away with stuff.

“If you are talking about Henderson and Pogba on their best day, there’s no comparison. It’s Paul Pogba. But Henderson is a seven every week. If Paul Pogba had Henderson’s attitude, he’d be the best midfielder in the world by a country mile.”

It remains to be seen whether Pogba will still be at Old Trafford for the start of the new season, but it wouldn’t surprise many if he were to depart.

United have fallen way behind their rivals in recent seasons, with Champions League winners Liverpool and current Premier League champions Manchester City way ahead of them in the table.

That dominance from England’s current top two is set to continue next season as United will be hoping to set a platform to build for the future this summer.
