Is this defeat on Alisson? Well, no.
Rhys Williams was directly at fault for United going 2-1 ahead, before Mo Salah completed his brace to equalise later in the second half.
But ultimately, it was Jurgen Klopp who decided to rest Joel Matip and use the 19-year-old rookie against an in-form Red Devils side, well aware of the risks.
It’s often said that the buck stops with the manager and the Liverpool boss is absolutely more responsible than Williams or Matip for this result.
