Tottenham Hotspur came up short against Manchester City on Saturday evening, losing 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium.
Spurs fell to a Rodri penalty and a brace from Ilkay Gundogan, with City’s dominance clear for all to see.
Jose Mourinho had Spurs top of the league earlier this season, but they’re now 17 points adrift at the top after some disappointing showings.
After losing just one of their first 12 Premier League games, Spurs have now lost five of their last 11, winning just three games in that run.
Mourinho finds himself under pressure at Spurs, with a top four finish far from nailed on, and Jamie O’Hara thinks Tottenham are lacking one key player.
O’Hara has taken to Twitter to demand that Spurs ‘break the bank’ to sign a new number 10 this summer, adding that Tottenham look like a team of individuals right now.
Mourinho does have Dele Alli at his disposal but hasn’t got the best out of him, whilst Tanguy Ndombele isn’t a natural number 10.
Bild once again note that Mourinho is keen to lure Marcel Sabitzer to Tottenham in a deal worth around €50million (£44million), which may be his idea of a quality attacking midfielder – but whether he is seen as world class is another matter.
