Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld is reportedly on Manchester United’s radar.

According to The Sun, United are interested in signing Alderweireld from Premier League rivals Tottenham this summer.
It has been reported that the Belgium international central defender is available for £25 million due to a clause in his contract.
Former Tottenham midfielder O’Hara, 32, believes that the 30-year-old would be a fantastic signing for the Red Devils.
O’Hara said about Alderweireld on The Transfer Tavern show on talkSPORT (5:26pm, June 8, 2019): “Man United are in desperate need of a centre-half, and he would 100% be on their list. He must be, for that price.
“I think he would be a fantastic signing for them. I would be gutted to see him leave Spurs.”

Tottenham Hotspur stay
Alderweireld is one of the best central defenders in the Premier League, and he would certainly be a great signing for United.
However, with Spurs doing so well, both in the Premier League and in Europe, the North London outfit may not need to sell or willing to sell the former Ajax star this summer.
Moreover, the defender himself may consider leaving Tottenham for United a step down, given that the Red Devils are not in the Champions League and are in a transitional period.
