Jordan Henderson captained Liverpool to their sixth European crown on Saturday evening.

Sky Sports pundit Jamie O’Hara has congratulated Liverpool after they beat Tottenham 2-0 in the Champions League final, but he brutally mocked Jordan Henderson for only appearing when it came to lifting up the trophy.
O’Hara’s comments were seemingly in jest, but he stated that he didn’t realise Henderson was playing in the game until he lifted Liverpool’s sixth European crown.
It was a game that lacked real quality with both teams struggling to impose their authority on the match, but in the end, it was Jurgen Klopp’s side who put the ball in the back of the net.
Speaking to Sky Sports News (01/05/2019 at 10:15 pm), O’Hara admitted that after the season Liverpool have had their fans deserve something this season.
“Fair play to Liverpool,” O’Hara told Sky Sports News. “The fans have been incredible this season, they deserve something, they really do. Anfield when you go there, I have played there, it is the best atmosphere. The fans, you saw the scenes before the game in Madrid, they love that football club. Heartbreak for Tottenham.
“I mean Jordan Henderson has picked up a trophy and I don’t think I saw him play in the game.”

It has been a rollercoaster campaign for Liverpool this season because they narrowly missed out on winning the Premier League title despite putting 97 points on the board.
But led by Virgil van Dijk in the middle, they kept their cool and produced the goods on the European stage and brought home the sixth European crown of their history.
The Merseyside club will be hoping to take this momentum into next season as they hope to dethrone Manchester City from the top of the Premier League table.
