Tottenham Hotspur will be preparing to officially move into their new stadium once the international break is over.

Jamie O’Hara has claimed that Tottenham moving into their new stadium will give them ‘another 15%’ in regards to their race to finish in the top four.

In recent days, the Tottenham youngsters have played in the club’s new surroundings, with a legends match also due to take place before it officially opens.

As reported by Sky Sports, on April 3, the senior side will take to the field for the first time with fellow London neighbours, Crystal Palace their visitors.

Speaking to talkSPORT, as posted on their official Twitter account (25/03/2019), former midfielder O’Hara spoke about his boyhood club and their eagerly-awaited stadium move.

“Spurs is a fantastic club,” O’Hara told talkSPORT. “I love the club, it was my dream to play for them. Going back to White Hart Lane will give them another 15% in the top four race.”

Before Spurs think about moving into their new stadium, they will travel to Anfield to take on Premier League title chasers Liverpool on Sunday.

Dropped points against Jurgen Klopp’s side could result in the London club losing third spot in the Premier League table and those teams behind them closing the gap on them in the table.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side, who have enjoyed a number of positive performances in the Champions League, are currently on a four-game winless run in the league.

At this moment in time, four points separate Tottenham and sixth-placed Chelsea, with North London rivals Arsenal one point behind them in the table and fifth-placed Manchester United a win away from closing the gap.
